Apulid Elementary School was first built east of Apulid along Mc. Arthur Highway. In 1978, one RP Chinese Building with 2 (two) room was constructed in the heart of Apulid, more or less 100 meters away from the Mc. Arthur Highway. Grade One and Two only were relocated withing the barangay proper, because of the resolution passed by PTA Officers headed by German Mata with the support of Barangay Captain Mariano De Vera. The 5,000 sq. Meters area of the school was donated by Dona Demetria Sumulong Cojuangco.

Apulid Elementary School is one of the beautiful and conducive schools for learning. It is through the efforts of the principals who served in this and through the support of the teachers, PTCA, Brgy. Officials as well as the people in the community.

Among the biggest projects of Apulid are:

  1. Mango Tree Planting – Mr. Jose M. Ferrer
  2. School Mini-Gymnasium – was first built in March 1996 through the effort leadership of Mr. Jose M. Ferrer with the support of from the PTCA Officers headed by Mrs. Yolanda Medel, but because of lack of funds dream of having a school mini-gym wasn’t fulfilled only the wide stage and the foundation of the gym was constructed. In 1998 during the term of Mrs. Roberta B. Uson, the roofing of the three (3) span of the mini-gym was constructed through the support of PTCA President Mr. Pacifico Marcoleta Jr.. lack of funds was still the problem that’s why the construction of the project was stopped. In 2001, one span of the mini-gym was constructed under Mr. Ernesto P. Bayno, but it was also stopped due to the lack of funds. When Mr. Fernando G. Delos Santos came, the flooring of the mini-gym was constructed. Finally, the dream of Apulid People was fulfilled, but still the construction of the original plan of the mini-gym is not yet completed due to lack of funds.
  3. Home Economics Building – Donated by the Alagad Party List under Mr. Ernesto P. Bayno.
  4. Iron Perimeter Fence – Local School Board funds under Mr. Fernando G. Delos Santos
